US Pint can into a vase shaped UK Pint glass at home on 31st March 2022. BBD was 27th November last year, hope it's OK; this is a live rating! Clear pour until towards the end when some sediment flew out, so the bright amber body became a little misty. Smooth white head on top. Caramel and piney hop aroma, more hoppy than caramel, especially as the beer warms in the glass. This is a bitter little number and drank fresh would most likely be too harsh for me, but it may well have mellowed since it was canned and I'm happy with that. The caramel I mentioned in the aroma doesn't appear in the taste at all, in fact there isn't even a hint of maltiness in the flavour. Most likely the best Two Roads beer I've had so far (like I am an expert with 5 rates already!).

Can from the now defunct Beer Hop. It pours cloudy pineapple yellow with a medium, fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, tangy, pineapple, pineapple chunks (the booked sweets), mango, yellow plum, fruit cocktail, salty, savoury and refreshers. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, bright, kick of acidity, bright, sherbet, refreshers, puckering, pineapple, mango, nectarine, fizzy sour candy, fizzy cola bottles, pineapple chunks, flying saucers, touch of saltiness and minerality with a puckering finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Bright, sour and fruity. Savoury edge. Moreish and quenching.

Down the list as one of my preferred styles, let us see what Two Roads does with a NEIPA. A pint can from Halftime, I pour inside of my ABGB tulip glass. A straw yellow body with a pillowy head of fully white foam. I smell oranges and maybe some maltiness. A drink, well, a step up. There is tangerine, grain, bread and a touch of grapefruit. A bit better than your average NE style.

Light red colored pour. Light blueberry and lemon nose. Nice tart lemon with slight blueberry notes underneath. No carbonation.

Mild blackberry nose. Slightly hazy copper, pinkish hue, thin head. Blackberry, lemon, very tart. Light body, easy carbonation. Very lemony, altering any blueberry character.

Pours clear golden with a huge white head. Aroma of grass, palm, light lemongrass. Taste has light smoked malt, some oily notes, interesting cereal notes. Palate has more malt, ever so slightly sweetened. Good.

Kibble nose, mild horse blanket, caraway, chemical. Clear brown, thin tan head. Molasses, pecan, brown bread, nail polish. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Complex, but rudderless. Not one of my favorite doppelbocks.
