Bouteille 33cl de Malt Attacks, batch 00/11. Ambrée, col épais blanc-cassé. Arôme est finement houblonné accompagné d’un malté caramel, rétro épicé, fleuri avec une petite levure persistante. Rétro liquoreux, fruité noir rappelant des baies. Palais est léger malté, caramel, pointe d’amertume des houblons, le tout est finement collant aux lèvres avec une certaine épiasse de grains, avoine? Pointe de chaleur, sucre bru, épicé du Summit avec un côté de réglisse et tjrs ce léger profil de fruits noirs.

At a tasting, thanks, big bubbly stable head, hazy deepish orange color, aroma of yeast and roots with light maltiness and a hint of honey, flavor of honey fruit and candy, heavy and alcoholic, much too sweet, almost foul. Not good.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Max. Hazy deep golden with a white head. Aroma of grains, honey, yeast, spiciness, a bit of fruitiness, some alcohol. Sweet flavor with honey, yeast, spiciness, fruitiness, graininess, alcohol, bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Harsh and not pleasant. The graininess, honey and alcohol characteristics even remind me of a shitty European Strong Lager.

330 mml bottle tasted on the 23/04/2016. Hazy dark amber brown color with a full brownish head. Aroma of hops, herbs, fruits, pine and caramel. Taste is hoppy with caramel and pine. Strong aftertaste. Full body with low carbonation. Next one please!

Tap at Oljenkorsi, Helsinki. Colour is slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, citrus, lime, hops and malts. Very nice session IPA. BTW abv is 4.8%.

(Keg at Punavuoren Ahven, 2010319) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, fresh grass and peach. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, pine, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A decent hoppy pale ale but too fizzy.
