Description
The brewery Fuglsang can rightly call itself Denmark's oldest family-owned brewery. Søren Christian Fuglsang founded the brewery in 1865, and today it is some of his great-grandchildren who, with respect for the craft and the raw materials, produce solid South Jutland beer.

The family also runs its own export malt factory, which is Denmark's largest and one of the few independents in Europe - it is the one that supplies a large part of the good malt to Fuglsang's beer.

Clear amber. Aroma is light caramel, light herbs, bonbon. Taste is sweetish malt, mineral body, almost no hop bitterness. Nothing too special but also not horrible.

Amber with a tall, frothy head. Attractive enough, but after that it’s all downhill. Aroma promises stale grains and old, fermenting fruits. Taste is grainy bitter, rough and full of off-notes. The faint almost pleasant caramel note at the finish fails to break an overall unharmonious impression. Medium to light bodied, moderate carbonation, moderate watery texture. Lousy.
