Can at home from The Hive Crowthorne, 3rd March 2022. Pours a hazy orange yellow. Aroma is pine, dank, citrus. Taste is very dank, resinous, earthy, onion, citrus and grapefruit, some bitterness. Excellent and different DIPA

440ml can. Murky golden, white head. Aroma is fruity, herbal, and very mild onions. Taste is fruity, tropical and citrus, grapefruit, passionfruit, peachy, herbal, a little dank, mild savoury notes, decent bitterness. Medium bodied. Very rare to see an all English-hopped NEIPA, I've found them to be very lacklustre in the past. But I was impressed with how well this one came together, extremely flavourful!

Keg at Croxtons, Southsea. Gold with a large, lasting white head. Lovely soft mouthfeel with a soft and frothy fizz. Gentle grassy hops and some sweet lemon followed by a crisp finish. Very, very refreshing and morish. Just so drinkable. One of the best lagers I've had. Can't believe this is a house lager!

Was pleased to find this at The Hive, Crowthorne. I'd ordered it direct from the brewery and they sent me the wrong beer. And the The Hive appeared to be out of stock before one of the staff spotted it hidden away in a fridge. Aroma combines fruit with resin for a lazy marmalade stirred into porridge effect. Hazy-opaque light orange. Thin frothy white head. Fruity. Citrus. Orange marmalade spice. But with a resin core. Boozy edge which amplifies into the finish. There's a milk and oats aftertaste. Heavy bodied. Creamy.... swill it around in yer gob and it's positively gloopy. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. Big fun. Big boozy marmo fun.

Can ordered from the brewery. Gains a bonus point for reminding me there's a packet of pistachio nuts in the cupboard. The raspberry provides a pulpy punch in the aroma. It really dominates. Chocolate hints. Dark and glossy. Cola tints. Foamy tan head. Raspberry tartness balanced by fruit sugar. Cocao bitterness. But there's also molasses. There is a pistachio ice-cream streak. But as per the aroma it's the raspberry is Da Capo. Raspberry ganache action. Medium-heavy bodied. Oily. Flat-fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Flavoursome stuff for shore. The skeletal hand on the artwork is perhaps a reference to diabetic coma? Good. Sipper.

Can ordered from the brewery. Aroma is low key: floral soapy stone fruit and vanilla. Kinda unattractive off-orange. Waxy. Foamy translucent white head. Medium bitter. Citrus edge. Followed by sweet fruit syrup. Creamy vanilla in the mix. Gains resinisitinousosaty. Medium-heavy bodied. Creamy. Flat-average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Thick enjoyable DNEIPA.

Can ordered from the brewery. Aroma has tart stone fruit and vanilla. Hazy pineapple yellow. Thin foamy translucent white head. Tart citrus and stone fruit. Juicy. Spice. Hints of underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Sessionable and perhaps unsurprisingly light.

Can ordered from the brewery. Aroma has bitter stone fruit and and wood. Hazy pale orange. Frothy white head doesn't quite provide full coverage. Medium bitter. Resinous. But followed by stone fruit and spice. Dry. Thick bodied. Oily. Average prickly carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. OK.so essentially a NEIPA but with English hops and slightly restrained in the vein of one if those not overly hoppy IPAs from an old school UK brewery. Albeit this is hoppy. Like the othe collab in this series it's ultimately nice but overly polite.
