5oz on tap at Smoky Mountain in Gatlinburg. Poured a dark brown, cola color. Aroma had some very mild notes of chestnut, toasted malts. Maybe some light nutmeg notes? Certainly not actually that, but something kicked off my tastebuds to that. Okay.

5oz on tap at Smoky Mountain in Gatlinburg. Poured a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light chocolate, malt. roast. Flavor was similar. Light bittersweet notes. Probably one of the better ones I had here.

5oz on tap at Smoky Mountain in Gatlinburg. Poured a clear copper color with a small white head. Aroma was some light floral notes, earthy, spicy hop profile. Body of the beer was malt heavy, with some light hop notes. Okay.

5oz on tap at Smoky Mountain in Gatlinburg. Poured a clear yellow color, light fizzy yellow beer, a lot like the macros it’s going for in terms of not only visual, but also flavor and aroma. Light corn notes, some very light sweet notes, not super crisp. Kind of bland and a touch sweeter than a standard macro. I’d avoid this in the future, but a pitcher of this would be a lot easier to stomach than any Bud, Miller or Coors product.

Keg at Smoky Mountain Turkey Creek, 16/02/15 as ’Dark Wheat Ale’ which I am pretty sure is this based on the date of the other review and the characteristics of the beer. Murky dark amber brown with a moderate off white covering - ugly looking toilet water affair! Nose is a touch thin, malt, toffee, light spice, bitter orange peel. Taste comprises caramel, light vanilla, hint of water melon, biscuit notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Mediocre sub par offering.

Taste comprises lemon rind, grassy notes, melon, light herbal. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so but as wheat ales go pretty innofensive.
