Bottle 500ml.[ Trade by Papsoe ]. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, ash, coffee, burnt malt, alcohol, light to moderate yeasty, phenol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet burnt malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120201]

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy opaque dark brown with a beige head. Smoky, peaty nose. Solid body, dark dried fruits, yeast and phenols, quite some roast and a little smoke. No real bitterness. 260112

cloudy brown, small light brown head. malty and sort of spicy aroma. still deep. flavor is wheat, booze, licorice, roasted malts. intersting experiment

Bottled. An opaque dark brown beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma has notes of spices, caramel, and wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, caramel, wheat, and fruits, leading to a very dry wheaty finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a deep amber glare with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, dark malty. Wheaty, solid caramelish and mild fruity. Smooth and dark malty.

Bottle @ Odense Tasting Januar, 2012. Pours muddy golden with a creamy head. Muddy, dusty and yeasty nose and flavor. Heavy phenolic and sweet. A muddy mess.

Odense New Year tasting. Bottle 6201. Hazy amber with a lasting white head. Yeasty and smoky phenols dominate the aroma with fruity hops in the background. Sweetish yeasty and fruity flavour.

Draft. A dark brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of spices, malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spices, star anise, and caramel, leading to dry spicy finish.
