Bottled. Hazy amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is ginger, yeast, zest and some mild leathery and wooden notes. Flavour is spices, leather, some zest, yeast, caramel and mild fudge. A bit too yeasty, but otherwise quite pleasant.

Sample from 50 cl. bottle, B.B. 2008. Golden with an amber hue, small white head. Dark sediments in the fluid. Sweet aroma with a slightly sourish note, tart apples. Maybe due to age. No fruitiness left. Taste is light sweet. Light to medium body, thinner texture. Finishes sweet with a sourish note. Definitely not for ageing. No wonder considering the style and abv.

Sample from 50 cl. bottle, B.B. 2007. Golden-amber colour with a small, white head. Some dark floaties. Sweet aroma with caramel and bread malts. All fruity esters seems to be gone due to age. Slightly vinous. Taste is sweet. Medium body, thin to creamy texture. Finishes sweet with caramel and bread malts. Definitely not intended for aging. However, still drinkable.

Sample from 50 cl. bottle. B.B. 2007. Dark amber colour with a thin tan head. Sweet aroma with yeasts, bread and caramel malts, faint fruity notes. Some butter/diacetyl notes due to age. However not unpleasant. Taste is sweet. Medium body, creamy texture, flat carbonation. Finishes sweet with bread, chocolate and caramel malts. Has aged well for a wheat beer, no esters are left - still pleasent to drink.

Cloudy amber color; the bottle is a slow gusher, but in the end there is not much head. There is some sweet caramel aroma, light fudge too. Semi-sweet caramel and fudge flavor, with a light nutty touch, and moderate bitterness; it has a light spicy touch, some bitter oranges.
Simple like some homebrews, but not too bad.

Opaque black - brown beer. No real head. Slightly herbal nose. Light semi dry and crispy palate. Creamy dark malt backdrop to a very herbs and coca cola flavour! A trace of something nutty. Finishes semi dry. Well this is a full on beer! Drinkable but the herbs are really quite strong.

Bottle, 75cl corked, from trade with Papsoe. A black one, topped by a minimal brown head. Lightly roasted aroma with licorice, some spice notes and alcohol, and a phenolic touch. The flavor doesn’t differ much from the aroma, it’s roasted, with licorice, some spices, as well as a little bitterness and some sweetness. Medium to full body, lightly warming. Bitter and roasted finish. A nice one indeed. 110610

Bottle, 75cl corked, from trade with Papsoe. It pours a more or less black body, topped by a rim of off-white to beige head. The aroma has dishwashing water and spices, a dash of alcohol and roasted malts, all making this smell more like glögg than beer, but I like it. The flavor is roasted and herbal, cinnamon and cardamom blends in, so does some alcohol, and as the aroma, it’s more of a glögg than beer, and nice. Medium to full body, sort of oily on the palate. Spiced and roasted finish. This is not your typical beer, and I think it would be challenging to finish a bottle on my own, but sharing it with five friends was nice. 110610
