Druaght. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Week but complex spicey aroma. Too bitter flavor as it is a christmas beer. Average finish. Creamy palate.

A hazy reddish beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel and herbs, but also a slight acidity. The flavor has a powerful malt back ground, on which is a somewhat weird herbal note, but towards the end light notes of smoke and tar comes a long and makes the beer better.

(On tap) Served at the official opening of Bryghus Horsens August 4th 2006. Clear, dark amber - yet unfiltered - with a handsome, rich and creamy off-white head leaving a pretty lace work. Soft, malty nose. Medium-bodied, appears a bit young as if it hasn’t really matured properly (a whole month the brewmaster told me!). Distinct bitter, hoppy finish following an underlying sweetness. Lacks some spices and lagering I still will maintain - there’s potential for more here. 040806
