Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and light notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of bread, caramel, and fruit, leading to a dry and lightly bitter finish.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.Unclear medium orange amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, raisin, cinnamon, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, orange, light notes of smoke - rubber - plastic. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081124]

Bottle 50 cl. Clear amber golden with a small, rough, off-white head. Aroma of burned caramel and a ligt spicy edge. Medium body with a dry fruitiness. Dry and lightly bitter finish. Straight and drinkable but a little bland. 010209

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy hazzlenut golden brown with a small off-white head. Dry roasted and malty aroma. Mild sweet, light acidic and spiced flavoured. Gives away a mild acidic base flavour and subdued dry and roasted malt base. Lasting spiced to herbal finish.

On tap at Café Conrad, Vejle. A slightly hazy beer, probably chill haze, amber colored, and topped by a nice, creamy, beige head. Lacings. Toffee, some DMS and fruits in the weak aroma. The flavor is more pronounced, with malty sweetness, fruityness, some toffee and a little hoppy bitterness towards the finish. Quite high on carbonation, medium body. Weak, sweet and fruity finish. A decent beer, but boring and I prefer the Pilsner to this one, even though they got the same score from me. (080914)

On tap at Café Conrad, Vejle. A slightly hazy, orange-golden beer with a small, white head leaving lacings. Quite neutral nose, but some maltyness, fruits and piney hops are present. Some citrus in the mose, fruity and malty, quite sweet, and with some hoppy bitterness. A bit thin and almost too effervescent. Lacks on the bitterness, but it is easy to drink. And boring. (080914)

Bottle, thx to HenrikSoegaard. Pours a clear, quite dark golden body with a diminishing, off-white head. Quite weak on the nose, with caramel, some grains and a fruityness. Caramel and some fruityness in the flavor too, and there’s also a little bitterness. Rather thin body, effervescent in the mouth. Quite drinkable, but boring. I guess they need to raise their quality and standards if they are to survive. This is too ordinary, and I don’t think the Danish market will continue buying ordinary pilsners at premium price. On tap at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. An amber, slightly hazy beer with a nice, beige head. Quite weak aroma with fruits and caramel. The flavor has the same problem, it’s too weak, but balances caramel and fruits nicely. Some hops shows up in the finish. Full to medium body and a decent level of carbonation. Caramel finish with bittering hops. Not a beer I would choose to go with my Christmas dinner, but to a Danish style Christmas lunch it would probably be appropriate. (080913)
