Had this at the Orsted cafe/bar, Kobenhaven 13-09-08 Pours hazy amber in colour with white head. Lovely sweet piney and citrusness in the mouth with some sweetness to back up proceedings. Really good flushy bitterness forces its way through. My notes are sketchy but this was a damn good beer.

draft, EBF08 not mych aroma, i get some sour notes, brown cloudy not much head, flavor a bit watery, sweet, smooth, way better than engllish beers of same style. dry, solid for the abv. overall interesting but not a masterpiece.

aroma: raisins, alc. sugar, quite stingy. dark brown, thick light brown head, flavor is VERY spicy, under that i get what reminds me of a belgian dubbel (yea’ i make weird associations). spices dominate, below i get dark fruits.. This one is tasty, but FAR from as delicious and balanced as the better belgian brews, which also sometimes has some spices etc.

Had this at the European Beer Festival Kobenhaven 13-09-08 this was far less imposing that the Mikkeller chilli/choco combination and whilst fine not quite in the same league. Highish carbonation pours dark brown with a light beige head some creamy milk chocolate on the nose but the chilli was something of a shrimnking violet and was quite difficult to detect, if you’re going to do it then you have to be like Mikkeller and be brazen and up front with this type of combination.

Bottled@Örsted Ölbar, Copenhagen. Deep orangeish amber colour with small head. Aroma is pineapple, peach, some nectary sweetness as well as mild grass and wood. Flavour is quite hoppy, not too sweet, even though being fruity. A quite normal DIPA, wellbalanced and drinkable.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a nice tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of both fresh and over ripe fruits as well as some cowberries. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts, fresh and over ripe fruits, leading to a dry nutty finish where a note of alcohol comes along and leaves a slight burn in the throat and a warmth in the cheeks.

Draught@EBF2008. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, alcohol and some mild dark berries. Flavour is very much the same in a nice balance. Some slight notes of chocolate and coffee too as it gets to warm up a bit.

Draught at EBF08. Vinous aroma. Cloudy red brown colour. Small white head. The flavour is malty and grainy, slightly sweet. Hint of yeast.
