(Bottle 50 cl) Brewmaster Allan Poulsen has for years refused to brew a Pilsener, but for some reason has changed his mind - that’s all right with me as long as he keeps up his renowned standards
Slightly hazy amber coloured beer with a decent, creamy head. Aromatic, hoppy nose (Saazer). Fairly solid body with an abundance of malt and a hoppy finish. Nice handicrafted beer. 070805

A hazy orange beer with a small collapsing, but lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet and flowery, with light notes of yeast and oranges. The flavor is very powerful with strong notes of alcohol, yeast, oranges, and spices - the spices are very sharp - too sharp for me - I pick up peber among them. The alcohol gives it a dry end, while the hops mingles in with some flowery notes. The aroma is like a blonde, while the alcohol is like a triple.

Draught. Aromatic hoppiness but with a little unpleasant tone. Golden colour. Quite sweet flavour but dry aftertaste. Not horrible, just strange.

An orange beer with a head like whipped cream - long lasting. The aroma is sweet with faint hints of hops. The flavor is lovely hoppy and slightly buttery with a dry end. I’m so disappointed in the filtered beers from Brøckhouse - get hold of the quality control instead of filtering the beer.

Tap: Hazy orange with big beautiful head. Lemon, spice and yeast aroma. Somewhat sour flavour, refreshing but not remarkable. Nice soft mouthfeel.

This forms a tall white head that rises high above a clear, deep amber beer. Citrus, a bit of pine, and some honey in the background, make up the aroma that comes easily from this beer. Slightly sweet on the front, some hops come on in the middle, and it finishes long and dry. Very well balanced and drinkable. Thanks to Madsberg for this excellent brew!

Dark amber color. The aroma is malty and perfumy (flowers), peculiar; I guess they used some herbs, similar to Porse or Myrth. Good malty body structure, again with the same herbal/perfumy touch, a bit fruity, mint, spicy.

Spicy, herbal (roses, mint) and lemony aroma. Hazy amber brown, big off-white foamy head. Peppery and herbal flavors, light on the finish. Hides strength very well. Somewhat lightbodied, fizzy mouthfeel. Starts out very nicely but drops the ball a bit towards the end - nevertheless a very interesting experiment.

Draught. Golden colour. Not as bitter as it used to be, hint of sweetness. Aftertaste a little more bitter than the first impression lets on.

Draught at Plan B, Copenhagen. Nut brown. Lightly roasty with a vague hint of menthe. Sweetish and lightly orangey. A discrete and fairly light take on the style.
