Bottle from the brewery Webshop, drunk after removing all homes theater accoutrements from the living room to prepare for painting. It's going to be a viewing desert for a while. Dark amber, huge head that doesn't quit. Spicy caramel nose, a citrus and earthy-grain boooom in the olfactories. Big body, nice caramel notes, balanced with (D?)IPA level bitterness. Excellent complex interplay of grain flavors, flavorful traditional hops, caramel, and full body.

Tap @ BeerGeek Bar, Prague. Clear dark golden with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, hay and light smoked. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 250723

Clear amber colour white foam. Complex, sweet and malty with lingering smoke, bacon, bready but also hoppy bitter. Very interesting.

Bottle. Clear dark golden. Caramel malts, light creamy, a touch of smoke, butter, grassy and spicy hops. Medium sweet and bitter, full bodied. Nice.

50cl Fles van De Bierkoning. Iets mistig diepgouden tot amber kleur, witte kraag. Heel subtiel rokerig, vers brood, broodkorst, medium zoet, moutig, toast, licht grassig, noten, degelijk bitter. Lichte body, vol mondgevoel. Top.

Nice looking amber colour, soft off-white head. Smells somewhat meaty, soft. Easy, light body, soft but nothing watery. Taste is malty, easy, light meaty smokyness present. Good thirst quenching beer, highly drinkable while remaining nicely flavourful.

Bottle 50cl @home poured into a footed pilsner glass. Clear medium amber colour, good frothy white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma toasted malts, grain, caramel, subtle smoke, nutty notes. Retronasal smoke. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, toasted malts and grain, light toffee, nutty notes, spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, well-balanced, lingering smokey, earthy and nutty notes, good one!
