Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a cloudy burnt orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipates at a nice pace. Sly stringy lace.
The aroma had some sweet to bitter grassy, citrus and piney hops. Subtle sweet wheatiness.
The flavor leans to the sweet side with subtle backing from the malts, wheaty with a grainy grip on my taste buds. Sweet hoppy and malty aftertaste with the same sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. Feels good as an AIPA.
Overall, good enough to have again. Thanks Doug.

I think this is their flagship beer. Had in a pint glass.
The appearance was obviously a malty looking amber color with a clean finger’s worth of white foamy head. Sly sticky lace after the head dissipates.
The aroma blends some dried cocoa malt extract to some toast and nuts. Grassy bitterness from the hops mixes in decently. Light earthiness.
The flavor combines nicely from the earthy to grassy hops to the sweetness of the cocoa malts. Nuts and toast shows a light presence. Aftertaste is between the malts and the hops fairly balanced. Sly earthy to grassy finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Sessionably smooth, the earthiness and grassiness seems to slide away allowing the chocolate malts to hit a sly stickiness over my tongue.
Overall, nice beer to be a flagship. And having an Amber ale as a flagship, well, that’s different for Vermont.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a dark brown color close to black. Thin white foamy head glazes atop and dissipates gently, light lace.
The aroma had some sticky chocolate malts. Light smooth roast. Low bitterness from some coffee bean.
The flavor follows through on a sharp bitter contrast to the roast. Eventually portions out a nice level balance of it all. Light malty to roasty aftertaste. Sly sweet roasty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice balance of the bitterness of the hops to the roast hitting my tongue. Low carbonation.
Overall, good porter willing to have again.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a rich dark brown close to black color with a nice level white coat of a finger and a half’s worth of head. Dissipates so slow like a Guinness. Milky looking messy lace.
The aroma had rich creamy sweet espresso flowing over top of sweet chocolate malts. Sly dark chocolate. Some toast.
The flavor brings all of these aromas together nicely. Sweet with the bitterness. Sly roast. The aftertaste leans milky/creamy/espresso sweet. Definitely a sweet smooth finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a really nice smoothness to it. Carbonation seems to ride nice and low. Some roast hits in my tongue.
Overall, really nice milk/sweet stout that I could have again.
