Bottle, small short creamy head, clear and just a touch deep gold colour, fruity honey aroma , herbal honey aroma, empathic medium strong bitterness, lingering bitter aftertaste. Satisfying well made pilsener.

Aroma: raisin. Very poor head, black colour. Taste: middle sweetness, no bitterness. Flavour is nearly exclusively of caramel. Oily feel, a bit watery for me. Does not taste like a bear, not very drinkable due to sweetness. Bottle, with name ’Zubr Schwarz’.

50 cl bottle @ HeBF’13, BBE07.03.2013
Aroma is stale with mash, grainy notes, some honey and hints of moldy cellar. Flavour is quite unpleasant with some moldy cellar notes, honey, cardboard and hints of wood. Finishes with harsh bitterness and gooseberry bush. Perhaps a bit past of its prime?

Bottle. 3.8%. Dark brown color with a beige head. Malty aroma, a bit sugary, with caramel, dark bread, a hint of chocolate and a bit of roastiness. Sweetish flavor with malt, caramel, some roastiness and toastiness, some bread, nutty notes and a slightly drier finish. Light to medium-bodied. Not a great Tmavý but really quite alright.

Bottle. 3.8%. Clear golden with a white head. Corny aroma, grainy, with a bit of hay and light grassy hints. Sweetish grainy flavor, a bit husky, with corny notes and with some bitterness in the finish, a bit metallic, with faint grassy/herbal hints. Rather light-bodied, slightly fizzy. Nothing good, but nothing too offensive either.

At a tasting, thanks DSG, smallish head, hazy lemon yellow colour, aroma of artificial bitter lemon, flavour of honey and detergent. The beer is in the way of the soft drink.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Decent lemonade aroma. Flavor of lemonade, sweetish, slightly tart and slightly spicy, with light beery graininess and a finish with a bit of lemon rind. Light-bodied and watery (like it should be). Quite decent and refreshing as a lemonade. A great choice for my 4000th rating!

50cl can at my B&B in Prague. Can’t tell you how it looks. Smells not great, a little trashy, some corn, some grass, some wet white bread. Flavor is very sweet, a sting of metal, corn, white bread, some malt, some honey. Light, but metallic finish. Not very good.
