Italian dressing, butter nose. Clear deep amber, creamy medium head Dried leaves, vinegar overtones. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. The texture is exceptional, but something is wrong with the rest of it. Very whack.

Tap at the brewery - clear amber pour - flavor is medium-sweet but finishing lightly dry and spicy - fairly estery, but not overly so - a bit of gum, banana, light peppery phenols - alcohol is moderately present - not terribly complex, but also not an overly sweet banana bomb and many American versions of the style can be.

Can imported by Chris and drunk on New Year's. Mild nose, light grain on light gold brew. Moderate head. Light lemony taste from the hops, pretty refreshing take on German lager.
