(bottle) Clear pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Sweet grainy, slightly buttery nose with light notes of resiny hops. Light-sweet flavour, grainy taste with a shy hoppy background, light body, almost crispy carbonation; malty, light bitter and dense hoppy finish. Pretty drinkable Helles, clean and refreshing.

Bottle: Dark amber coloured, small, but stable off-white head; delicate sweetish-caramelly nose with fruity traces of almonds and hazelnuts, toasted malt, too; light, quite dry bitter flavour; slightly sweetish, but mainly dry fruity and dark-malty finish with a little bitterness in the very end. Light bodied, but tasty.....................

Draught at the brewery. Fizzy, off-white head which diminishes mostly. Amber to orange body. Not to well pronounced aroma of toasted, sweet malts and oranges. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter flavour. Lightly bodied. Rather flat flavour and somewhat watery.

(bottle) Hazy amber colour with a mid-sized off-white foam. Sweet maty, toasty and nutty aroma with caramel and herbal hops. Medium sweet flavour, light to medium body, smooth carbonation. Strong cara-malty, (wal)nutty taste, slightly yeasty and hoppy; medium-dry, bitter hoppy finish with liquorice. Tasty and likeable.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden with a blonde foamy white head. Moderately sweet grainy aroma with shy herbal hops. Slightly sweet flavour, aromatic grainy taste, light to medium body, crispy mouthfeel; dryish, slightly bitter and herbal hoppy finish. Clean, refreshing and well-made but absolutely unspectacular Pilsener. All in all not bad.

Bottle: Pale golden coloured, slightly hazy, slightly lacing fluffy head; the nose is a mox of sweet-bready (mainly) and fruity-citrousy aromas; sweetish (bready) flavour; short citrousy and bready finish, only a very light bitterness in the aftertaste. A pleasant, light thirst-quencher with a franconian touch........

Tap
Pale cloudy yellow, low creamy lacing head. Banana and clove aroma. Far more bananany (thats a perfectly cromulent word) than other Weizen of the region. Medium body, slightly fizzy.

Draught Very pale yellow, cloudy beer; small white head. Very banana-like nose, exactly banana-mash like, or baby food. Faint initial fleeting cypress flavour, then reverting to hyper-classic, rather annoying banana-orange masj. Little lemony finish, but sweet. Some wheat slickness, but generally some refreshing qualities, when poured cold enough. Decent Hefe, not very exciting.

Draught Clear gold, orange shine; good off-white head, fast gone, leaving fine lace. Dull, faintly sweet nose, very little going on. Sweet, but not overly sweet taste, flavour of sweet grain, maybe even impression of sweet corn. Retronasal, there’s some faint German hops. Again, more than usual slickness. It’s dry, but that’s the hops. If it weren’t Bavarian, I’d say maize-like. Uninteresting Bavarian pilsner.
