Just a bit worty aroma with endives. Thin to medium bodied. Somewhat worty flavor with chewing gum. A vegetable-like aftertaste. Below Bamberg standards.

Frothy head, disappearing slowly. Deep golden color. Hay-like hoppy aroma, just a bit flowery. Malty flavor, but also with a strong hopcharacter. Hay. Strong hopbitter aftertaste that fades away slowly.

Bottled (BB 04/2009, Vasa session). Hazy yellow color, small white head. Strong honeyish aroma with sweet banana. Citrusy front, then overriped banana and then again tart in the aftertaste. Quite bold hefeweizen and then not very refreshing.

Bottled. Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is banana, wheat, yeast and some spices. Flavour is wheat, some banana, citrus fruits and mild spicyness and earth. Quite dry palate, yet balanced and clean.

bottle. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Malty nose with a herbal touch. Malty, slightly hoppy with hints of grains and some cardboardy-herbal hops.

Brown coloured body with a thinnish tan head. Aroma of caramel malt, wheat, nuts and a little bit of spices. Medium-bodied; Strong malty flavours overtake the taste along with some nuts and raisiny-sweetness. Aftertaste has good malty characteristics, but not much else. Overall, a good import to try - nothing too special though. I sampled this beer from a 500 mL bottle purchased at RFD in Washington D.C. on 15 December 2006.

Dezent würziger Antrunk mit deutlichem Malzanteil. Prickelnd, die Würze verzieht sich während des Mittelteils in den Hintergrund, es bleibt eine milde Grasnote. Diese muss aber nur eine kurzzeitige Flaute überbrücken denn die Würzigkeit meldet sich wieder zu Wort, lässt die Gras-Getreidenote aber nicht komplett verschwinden. Es ergibt sich ein harmonischer Abgang, der allerdings kaum noch malzig ist. Würzig-hopfig trifft es eher. Test vom 14.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,9,10,11,11,11 - 10,15

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass is not very zippy, not much foam. Hoppy aroma. Tastes malty, dry, not very strong. Mild finish. Not really like a bock. Disappointing!
