Bottle: Pale golden hazy, small white foamy head; sweetish-fruity nose with a distinctive touch of yeast, hops are detectable from very far away; slightly sweetish (fruity) flavour, light bodied; delicate sweetish-fruity and malty finish with an illusion of bitterness ant tart yeastiness in the aftertaste. Yawn........

(bottle) Clear orange-amber colour with a short frothy off-white foam. Sweet malty and toasty aroma with a touch of honey. Sweet flavour, malt-accented taste, slightly toasted; medium to light body, crispy carbonation; moderately drying malty and very light bitter finish with hints of herbal hops. Well-rounded, pretty drinkable, but not too spectacular.

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Yeasty and slightly citric aroma with a dense malty and papery note. Slightly sweet and yeasty bitter flavour, light to medium body, crispy carbonation. Malty and yeasty taste; slightly bitter and yeasty finish, which is rather short. Rather unbalanced and bloody bland brew.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden to yellow colour with a rather short, but stable white foam. Malt-accented, wet straw aroma, which is not significant for the style; also with cardboard and a whiff of hops. Light sweet flavour, light body, crispy carbonation. Malty, slightly papery taste, not much to none fruity esters detectable; light bitter, slightly hoppy and papery finish. Although top-fermented, it reminds me more of a bland Helles.

(bottle) Clear and pale golden colour with a medium frothy white head. Malty aroma with an indefinate fruity note. Quite rounded brew with a malty start with a compound fruitiness and a soft bitter finish. Clean and without failures, but also nothing special.

Ein gutes Kölsch, das eigentlich keins sein darf. Ein wenig malzig und Kölsch typisch mild, ohne dabei wässrig zu schmecken. Lange ausklingender Nachgeschmack, sehr süffig. Lecker, mehr davon! Test vom 7.2.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,13,10,9,10 - 10,10
