Can at the hostel in Reykjavik. Some kind soul left this on the ’Free Shelf’ in the communal kitchen - don’t mind if I do. Pours immaculately clear yellow with a fluffy white head. The nose holds light cereal, general pale grains. Very lightly sweet flavour with faint grass and metallic notes, some hay. Light in body with average carbonation. Decent finish, some pale bread, biscuits and straw. For what it is, it’s not terrible.

Can shared at the hostel in Reykjavik. Pours totally clear yellow with a small, foamy white head. Pleasant crispy biscuits in the nose, traces of straw. Light sweet flavour with subtle dry cereal notes, a little further biscuit, hay, very slight grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean finish, lightly dry, with airy ple bread, more biscuity notes, cereal grains, mild bitter hay. Simple but not bad for an NA beer.

Canned October 28, 2016, drunk 11/27/16 on WOW Airlines flight to Iceland.
Clear with a large white head showing moderate retention. Golden, well-carbonated.
Smells quite clean with mineral water, pleasant cereal character and light honey-like grains. Maybe a hint of metallic character, but very, very minimal. None of the major offenders here; DMS, diacetyl or acetyldehyde. Very light hint of grassy hops help lighten things and there is no alcohol or oxidation.
In the mouth it shows ample carbonation, not too obnoxiously fizzy with honey and mineral water. Lots of grain and light cereal with hints of pepper and grass. Clean, drinkable and refreshing. I quite enjoyed it. Maybe on the sweet side, but I didn’t find the malt sugars problematic.
