Only found in a 2-4 at The Beer Store. Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a frothy cap, decent retention and foamy lace. Sweet malty nose with cereal grain notes and hints of honey. The taste is malty, but not as sweet as what the nose gives out to be. Refreshing, mild cereal flavours with very light hops. An easy-drinking ale overall. Easy on the wallet for a decent swill.

Bottle @ home. Clear artifical fluorescent golden color, virtually no head. Artificial, artificially flavoured aroma. Artificial lime. Flavor is light lime with again artificial flavors and sugar coming through. Yet, when you’ve just done some manual labor around the house and you’re dead beat, the bottle is cold and you’re thirsty as hell, it’s definitely not a drainpour. I’ve had much worse than this. As I was indeed beat and thirsty from working myself into sweat around the house, I did finish the bottle and even enjoyed the first couple of sips. Guess you just have to open this beer under the right circumstances to not rate it incredibly poorly.

Hazy light amber color with generous compact head. The aroma is mildly fruity and floral. The mouthfeel is smooth, anonymous malt flavor, no hop quality, low bitterness, and a bit of metallic feeling.

Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a big frothy warm cap, good retention and lots of lacing. Piney aromas from the hops over the caramel malts. The taste shows a little more of the caramel notes with the hops being pretty mild. More of the alcohol showing. Maybe a little too many hops, as the balance seems weird.

Can at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light dry grainy malt. The flavour is light bitter with a light mineral earthy aspirin malt, super light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Reminds me of that joke about that difference between Budweiser and being in a canoe!
