Bottle looks simple, but good, the beer in the glass not very zippy, small head. Very moldy aroma. Also starts a bit moldy-grasy, soft hoppy. Finish more malty, little sweet notes, all in all too mild. Nothing special!

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass not really. Middle between light and dark, modest turbid, no head. Starts washy, a bit alcoholic, hard-malty, dry, fruity like apricot. Unbalaned finish, metallically. Not good!

The bottle looks very good, beer in the glass dark, but not black, nice head. Starts strong, intense malty, modest smoky. A bit sourish, which is unusual for a doppelbock. Well balanced finish, warming-malty, quite drinkable. A good one!

(bottle) Hazy, deep orange to amber colour with a huge and persistent off-white foamy head. Sweet malty and sourish wheaty aroma with restrained fruity (banana) notes but strong phenolic (cloves, nutmeg) spices. Slightly tart and bitter flavour with a mild malty sweetness, light to medium bodied, soft carbonation. Moderately wheaty and fruity taste with cloves and a shy tinge of hops; sourish and slightly tart yeasty and hop bitter finish. A tad too spicy for my liking, otherwise a decent Ur-Weisse (07.VIII.09).

Bottled@Timo A Tasting Session, Tampere. Reddish copper colour, small head. Aroma is malts, cinnamon and quite much caramelly and mild alcoholic notes. Flavour is quite caramelly, alcoholic and also has some slight smoked notes in it. Quite sugary sweet as well. Pleasant and wellbalanced Doppelbock.

Sweet flavour with a light level of bitterness, light to medium bodied with a smooth, well-matured mouthfeel. (bottle) Hazy with loads of yeast-particles, golden coloured hue with a big and dense foamy white head. Yeasty, moderately sweet malty and soft grainy nose with a shy but distinctive fruity note and woody hops in the background. Good balance between the yeasty fruity accents, a solid malty, light-grainy base, supported by herbal and slightly woody hops, accompanied by a lasting and subtle fruity aftertaste. Very fresh and quaffable Keller-/Zwickelbier (12.09.07).
