bottle, thank you MoritzF! Very cloudy pale yellow, creamy white head. Lovelly hoppy flavours dominate, resiny and grassy with hints of lemon. Full-bodied with a malty base. A fruity sourness is present.

Bottle (purchased at the brewery): Hazy, small and lacy foamy layer, deep golden to light amber coloured, juicy malty nose with a barnyardy touch and a good, distinctive touch of hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, low carbonation; short, bitter-fruity-malty finish. A pleasant, average franconian beer, superb by german standards.......

Bottle (purchased at the brewpub): Clear, golden, smaller, quite stable lacy head, clean sweet-malty and distinctive floral hoppy nose; soft, smooth MF, light to medium bodied; soft and lingering floral hops - sticking to the palate - in the bitter-sweet finish. A spicy, tasty Vollbier, good even by franconian standards..............

Bottle (purchased at the Brauerei): Clear, golden, quite stable mid-sized head, almost solid barnyardy-malty nose with distinctive hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; some grainy fruitiness, mixed with a hoppy bitterness in the finish. Good "rural" Pilsener.........

Bottle (purchased at the Brauerei): Brownish-amber coloured, a touch of barnyard in the distinctive caramelly-hoppy nose, accompanied by a touch of toasted malt; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite light bodied, low carbonation; spicy caramelly-bitter finish. O.K., a good rural beer, a bit light bodied.........

(bottle, bought at the brewpub) Hazy, amber coloured hue with loads of micro particles and a short foamy white head. Slightly sweet cara-malty nose with notes of barnyard and a shy whiff of hops. Light-sweet flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly toasted cara-malty taste, quite one-dimensional with subtle fruity accents and light herbal notes; short, sweet and minimal-bitter finish. They do the pale brews way better.

(bottle, bought at the brewpub) Clear, golden colour with a short but persistent foamy white head. Light-sweet, soft malty nose with a distinctive fruity touch of citrus and pears, combined with a light hops character. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malty and slightly grainy taste with fruity notes; slightly grainy and light hoppy finish. More an Export than a Pils but nevertheless a drinkable one.

(bottle, bought at the brewpub yesterday morning) Slightly hazy, golden colour with s short foamy white head. Light-sweet and malty, subtle fruity (pears) nose with notes of barnyard in a pleasant way. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft carbonation. Malty, slightly chalky and fruity taste; slightly grainy, malt-accented finish with a light bitter hoppy touch. Soft and pleasant Helles. btw I second Edos´ impression, that the brewery and tap are in a very sordid condition.
