Bottle, thx Ryan! Clear golden-amber body, off-white head, gone soon. Creamy aroma, bit smokey, caramelly. Smokey taste, bacon and caramel, maltiness, beans, herbal, light bitterness. Fun! Didn't expect it to be smoked!

Light hoppy and malty aroma. Firm hoppy, hay-like flavor, with some boiled milk. Fairly long hopbitter afteratste. relatively clean for the brewery, but not by normal standards. Tasty, but far from perfect.

When I parked next to the brewery tap to buy some beer the brewery seemed to be in a pretty bad shape. An old and badly maintained building, old kettles and the brewery tap seemed a bit dirty and not changed a bit in 40 years or so. Like always, there were a few older men drinking beer. I bought bottles to take home and when I got back into the car, two fat teenage schoolgirls sitting at the bus stop next to the brewery giggled at me. Now tasting this Vollbier I think the giggling made sense. A bad, malty, soapy odor, in which the farms in the direct neighborhood are smellable. A rather dirty flavor with malt, oil, boiled milk and sulphur. Hoppy oily finish. This brewery is dirty and you can taste it!

Light amber color, just a bit hazy. Somewhat dirty caramelly aroma. Apple flavor with caramel and chichory. Barnyard smells. Dirty, somewhat bitter and apple aftertaste.

Light colored bockbeer, just a bit darker as gold. Just a slight malty apricot aroma. Thin and alcoholic. Slightly acidic. Apricot. Not very well brewed bockbeer with a lack of flavor and aroma.
