New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle: you know it is not a good omwn for a beer when people cannot tell whether the sourness is intentional or a result of the beer being spoiled. I too could not tell. Pours light amber with a big frothy head. Aroma of stupid caramel and citric acid. Taste is sweet burnt caramel followed by a mellow citric sourness. Not very good at all.

Bottle shared by obguthr, 5/29/14. Thanks! Pours a dark brown color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of herbal and medicinal with dry roast. The taste is roasted malts, herbal finish, almost minty. Thin bodied, low carbonation.

Coffee and basil nose. Mahogany, thick tan head. Meaty pork and charcoal flavor. Creamy mouthfeel but filmy. Dry and savory, but maybe a little off.

Bottled 330ml. -from Pam supermarket Trieste. Murky brown coloured, medium sized off-white head, dusty yeasty nose. Moderate malty, caramel, acidic yeasty and dried fruits with hint of spices in the finish. Really nothing special here.

Ogi & Maja’s bottle, shared with me (thanks!). Poured a murky brown body with an off white head. Sourish dusty yeasty aroma. Ok, not promising... Sour, meaty malty taste, vague raisins, sweet-sour interplay, but bordering on offensive with notes of plastic both in aroma and taste - certainly ruined. The beer might be a hit & miss, but this reeked of yet another overpriced Italian beer ruined by crappy refermentation in the bottle and poor handling. I WILL, however, try to get it again, as, looking at the other ratings, it seems that when it’s good, it’s very good. What I just drank doesn’t deserve a digit over 2.2.

Bottled 330ml. -from Pam supermarket in Trieste, rated in my hotel room in Torino. Cloudy yellow coloured, medium sized creamy white head, light acidic yeasty nose. Malty, pretty strong acidic yeasty and some spices with notes of fruits in the finish. Not worth 4€ I’ve paid for.
