Brown 330ml bottle (brewed in the EU, by people unknown). The bottle was reviewed on Friday 3rd July 2010, the bottles best before date being 28 Nov 2011. The beer was poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru glass. It had a golden lager look, large head that died very quickly, it was snow white. The body was a bit thin, but the beer was refreshing and bright, like most pilsner/lagers. It was over carbonated in my eyes, it made me burp, just like coke does. A just below average Lager in almost all aspects.

Originally rated September 2004. Read bad things about this beer. Poured a hazy copper-red colour with a quick dissipating head. Not much carbonation. Had aromas of sweet malts, apples and hints of vinegar. The mouth was of caramels with a dry aftertaste. Flat mouthfeel. I actually enjoyed this one, even after the bad hype.

Smell of malts, hops... Golden colour, practically zero head. Rubbery aroma, watery palate. Taste diminishes quickly. Lightly sweet.

Honey and corn nose. Hazy amber, thin head. Pervasive yet delightful dark honey flavor, coupled with more barley than corn. Nothing spectacular, but one of the better American light lagers.

Bottle provided by Finn and shared at a drinking session. Noisy pour, rapidly disappearing foam. Clear golden body. Dry and sweet to the nose, dough-like smell. Grain and cooked vegetables in flavour. Hoppy ending hints. Lively carbonated. just about drinkable (Tromsø, 09.02.2012).

Flaske 0,33l kjøpt på Kilpishalli. Delt med Rune under seanse i heimen 9 Feb 12. Gyldenbrun. OK skum når det kvelles høy - men forsvinner totalt i løpet av sekunder. Svak søt maltaroma. Smaken litt frukt & krydder med en undertone av malt. Lite spennende.

Pours a solid dark brown with ruby highlights when held to light, tightly bubbled white head displays moderate retention and lacing. Smells of caramel and toffee with a hint of chocolate and smoke. Little to no hop presence. Taste is mostly sweet dark sugars with maybe a hint of chocolate. Little to no hop flavor. Medium body and level of carbonation with a bubbly sweet mouthfeel. I remember trying this 15 years ago in Texas and hating it, basically my palette wasn’t ready for this. Now that it is ready I’m basically bored by this mediocre brew, not much has changed.

12oz bottle. Poured a dark caramel brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was roasted malts and a touch of hops. Malts mostly dominate this particular brew. Sweetness from the malts comes through. Drinkable.

12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a shaker. Pours a dark nut brown with a minimal amount of off-white head. Aroma is lightly malty. Not much here as far as aroma goes. Taste is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Has a slight sweet caramel taste. Light bodied with a thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, its not very good. I’m glad I only bought a single bottle so I don’t have to drink any more.
