Clear deep golden color with a small white layer on top. Quite rich aroma in this one. Lots of dried fruits and toffee. Medium body and a soft carbonation. A bit sweet and a moderate bitterness. Oily texture. Lots of dried fruits and toffee in the flavor. A pity with the low carbonation level. Could have been nice this one.

Quite possibly the first and only 237ml bottle I’ll ever have. Shared @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, courtesy of Gene! Many thanks. Pours clear gold with small foam head. Unsurprisingly unremarkable, but also not that bad either. It’s a straightforward lager with moderate bitterness.

Cheers Gene for this new country tick: 237cl bottle between 5 of us at the December 2015 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting. Just enough in my glass to see it was golden with a wispy head. Light/weak floral nose, bland in the taste, refreshing on a sunny beach or the jungle, but not a great beer for a windy, wet and cold December night in Shropshire: scored objectively.

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this sample! The beer starts malty and easy to drink. Lots of malt, slightly sweetish but typical for 6,5%. Fresh malty, hints of roast, no hints of Stout-souness. Somehow only a "Dunkel". Malty and slightly roasted finish with sweetish hints and nearly no bitterness. Nice but not too deep.

Had this at the 2014 RB Pittsburgh Summer Gathering at Horny Devel’s place. Actaully it was after the equinox at the beginning of fall, but DILLIGAF. Big thanks to James & Michelle for hosting such a nice spread of quality beers and for this particular beer a BIG thanks goes out to Michelle. Smooth aroma with no ill olfactory. Not quite black but dark enough and lucious looking enough for a 4. Very good sizzly co2 on the first uptake. A little ropey at times. Not real offensive and it lacks an y real ill attributes. Smooth tasting stout, pleasant. Overall and easy going, easy to take beer that is btter than most rated on this site. Yes, not that bad! Thanks James’ better half! heheheh.

Bottle shared by Travlr at the DC Summer Saison & Sour Tasting, 7/12/14. Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of honey and meaty notes. The taste is tart fruits, non-descript malts. Thin bodied. Fairly poor.

Canadian pilsner malt represent. Had many a bottle of this before I realized that Barrel rum was a definite superior choice on Caye Caulker. Nonetheless Central America had many worse, and Belikan was good enough at Lounge Lizard bar by the rift. Thanks for reminding me of this beer, Travlr.
