Can shared at Brewver Belgian Winter Gathering. Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, hayish, cardboard, softly bitter. Oh well, the typical hayish cardboard lager. 6-4-4-4-4,5

1/III/25 - 296ml can from a trade, shared @ Belgian Beer Geek Gathering (2025 Winter/Spring edition), BB or canning date?: 29/IX/23, L4BZ19:19 (2025-186) Thanks for the trade!
Clear pale yellow beer, practically no head. Aroma: malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, bit watery. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very watery, lots of cow fodder, wort, grains, bleh. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, more cow fodder, spent grains, not a very good one.

Folks who find themselves in San Pedro on Ambergris Caye will find this to be a very refreshing and flavorful brew for the tropics. (O.K. , you can be on the mainland, but this is a beach beer. Much more than a Corona, yet not quite one of the Mexican German style beers. The bottles are a little over 9 ounces so it stays cold and make great refillables for your bigger homebrews - something between a nip and a 12 oz. If you must have an American style beer while on your stay in Belize, seek out the Belikin "Premium" in the 12 oz bottles. Otherwise go down to the distributor just south of greater downtown San Pedro and pick up a case in your golfcart to take back to the hotel. You'll be drinkin' as the locals do!

The Stouts of the Caribbean are strong, sweet versions of their Irish ancestors. The Belize Brewing Company also bottles a Belizean version of Guinness in the same plant, which is a better choice if you're having a Caribbean style Stout.

A bad attempt to brew American Mega Swill for the tourists visiting Belize. A plus for it was that in San Pedro it was much tougher to find than the regular Belikin (which at least has some character). I read somewhere on the 'net that this was going to begin being imported to the U.S. They are bringing in the wrong beer.

Bottle 0,237 ltr: Very clear golden colored brew with an dryish some how bitter taste, grassy smell like the German Beck’s and some dull grainy hints. But this beer and another one from Belize is giving to me by an collague of me. So one tick from Belize.
