Cask up the White Lady, as Beartown Bruin. Pours clear golden to amber with a thick off-white head. Aromas of light chocolate and caramel. Taste has light herbal notes behind the cocoa and toffee. Light sweet finish. Excellent value for money on a Wednesday night!

Uklar gulbrun med hvitt skum som blir liggende hele veien ned. Lukter grapefrukt og sitrus. Smak av tropiske frukter. Enda mer sitrus i avslutningen.

Best value third for a while at £3.25 in early 2025 for an imperial at 9% - especially as it's very very good! Caramel heavy taste (but not so in aroma), rich for it but you wouldn't know its strength. A sticky-sweet texture is its best indicator in this respect.

Keg from Piccadilly Tap, Manchester. Hazy orange gold with small white head. Reasonably juicy with notes of citrus, pineapple, passionfruit and light funk. Quite drying in the finish. Decent stuff.

Can from Tick Beer. Cloudy gold, big white foamy head. Aroma is very sweet-floral in note, really quite flowery. Taste again floral with pithy citrus and pine, nice bitter bite in the finish. Medium bodied. Its ok.

Can from Tick Beer, consumed only 9 months past BBE! Pours black with small beige top but doesn't last. Sweet vanilla and chocolate aroma. Taste is sweet but more coffee noted than chocolate. Vanilla throughout, quite a tangy dark berry note. Body slightly thin for the ABV. Its ok.
