Cask Conditioned at The Crown, London (Brewer St.)
Dark amber to brown color. The initial strong caramel aroma fades away. It has a dry caramel flavor, but in the end the ashes and the roasted malt are a bit too evident for me. Ordinary.

From cask at Kenilworth. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a lacing off-white head. Aroma is fruity and holds a solid roasted malty note. Mild spiced and roasted malty flavoured with touch of sourness. Easy and smooth finish. Holds a light bitterness to the roasted malt acidic finish.

(Cask at White House Hotel pub, Peel, on 2008-07-05) Pale yellow. Clear. Small dense white head. Ginger and lightly malts in nose. Medium and dry palate with sting from ginger. Ginger, hops, malts and some bitterness in taste. Ginger brings slightly hot aftertaste. Interesting and not bad.

Cask at the Market Porter. Spicy aroma. Dark amber color with a white head. Medium body with smooth carbonation. Flavor is likely caramel malt, but it’s strongly overlaid with hottish spice - not pepper - ginger? Something like that. Really refreshing.

Cask at The Market Porter, London. Roasted aroma. Dark brown color with copper areas. Hoppy, fruity flavor. Medium body with mild carbonation. Roasted malt lightly follows the hop. Finishes fruit hoppy. Could be some citrus. Drinks very well.
