Bottled. Golden colour, small white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, tropical fruits and some mild resiny notes. Flavour is sweet fruits, some floral and nectary notes along with some toffee.

Dark brown color. Somewhat toasty caramel aroma. Medium bodied, but a bit watery texture. Careamel and glue, some licorice. OK, but nothing more.

Cask (backlog). Coppery brown colour with a small slightly off-white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, some slight chocolate, ashes and mild sugary sweetness to it as well. Flavour is chocolate, ashes, some roasted malts, mild bitterness along with some slight toffee as well. Quite tasty, but at the same time a bit on the more watery side, even though the elements for a good body are there.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, butterscotch notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120120]

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of citrusy hops.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, straw, hay, moderate hoppy, dusty, dry grass, light butterscotch and honey. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101129]

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, smoke - peat - rubber, light hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, smoke. Cask-conditioned at the Three Judges, Glasgow 17/06/10. Deep gold with a slight white head. Aroma of lemony, citrus hops and sweet malts. Flavour had more citrus, marred by some ashy, roasted malts. Finish was moderately bitter. Ok.

Cask at Crescent, Manchester. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt as well as light notes of butter. The flavor is sweet with quite a lot of butter as well as light notes of straw, leading to a buttery finish. The mouthfeel is smooth.
