Draught@brew pub, Dublin. Opaque black, good creamy tanned chocolaty head. Nice intensive nose of cold coffee and chocolate. Aroma is better than beer’s flavor itself. Roasted coffee beans are there but body watery, lighter than you could expect from good nose. Anyway balanced porter and the best of Messrs maguire’s current brews.

Draught@brew pub, Dublin. Clear golden color, small white head. Strong malty alcoholic nose. Sweet, malty apple flavors like in Russian malt liquer. Otherwise Maguire has copied standard pale lager quite well. Even the harsh aftertaste is there.

Draught@brew pub, Dublin. Golden color, small white head. Malty, weak nose. Medium-bodied. Quite well-balanced, not really hopped to be "real German pils" but good lager which competes with beers like Budvar.

Draught@brew pub, Dublin. Slightly hazy yellow color, small white head. Sour wheaty (more like in witbier) aroma. Light, apple-cider like flavor with orange peel notes. Sweetish, light banana notes. Very weak Hefeweizen.

Sampled cask conditioned at Stockholm Beer Festival.
Amber colour. Heavy citrusy aroma from the Cascade hops mix well with the more grassy aroma of the Styrian Goldings. Sweet and soapy softly malty with nice filling mouthfeel and really bitter finish. Unbelievably packed with flavour this is like a cross of american pale ale and irish ale.

An amber beer with a beutiful creamy head. The aroma is very slight with fruity notes. The flavor is creamy - the bitterness hits you from the start, then a sweetness from a nice maltblend takes over (do I detect münchner and caramel malt?). It ends on a very nice bitter hoppy note. A really nice beer - a soft pretty bitter ale.
