Description
The Féculerie farm, erected from the 14th to the middle of the 18th century, in Jandrain-Jandrenouille has been transformed into a brewery since the summer of 2007. Born in 2006, from the infatuation of two university comrades, the original equipment came from the berry brewery. Currently, Alexandre Dumont de Chassart continues the solo project and works to increase the capacity of the brewery as well as the development of new products.

On tap at Moeder Lambic Original. A hazy orange golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of mild orange fruits, grainy malt, yeast. Taste of intense bitter hops, citrus, grainy malt.

Smooth floral beginning. Fresh with a great deep sweetish floral body. Intense, slightly sticky, floral grainy.

On tap at Moeder Lambic Original. A almost clear dark golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of orange fruits, citrus, pine. Taste of intense bitter hops, pine, zest, citrus fruits. Long bitter finish.

Draft glass @ CML Fontainas. Hazy golden, big creamy white head. Nose is floral, crisp barn, white pepper, some BE soap. Taste is lively soap, graham crackers, white pepper, bit too BE soap but fair soapy white pepper & biscuit.

Bottle (thanks marduk). Pours yellow-golden with whiteish head. Aroma is fruits, wheat, citrus, dryness. Flavor is sweet and bitter, wheat, fruits. Overall: okish.

F: huge, egg-white, good retention. C: amber with red hue, hazy. A: malty, orange peels, grassy, mellow fruity, bit nutty, caramel, candy. T: malty, grassy, caramel, fruity, candy, light spicy, coriander, very easy drinkable, bit yeasty, medium body and carbonation, good one, enjoyed, 75cl bottle from Delhaize Hankar in Brussels.
