Bottle from Mr. Hop. Malty aroma with caramel, yeast, spicy notes, a modest fruity touch. Not picking up the grapefruit really. Flavour is a bit sweet, with a medium body. Decent Tripel, pretty malt-forward.

Bottle from Mr. Hop. Aroma is strong tonka with burnt malt, sourish coffee, roast, some chocolate, caramel, and a hint of liquorice. Lots of tonka throughout. Flavour is medium sweet and mildly bitter. Medium body. Not bad. But lacks body, carbonation and smoothness to place it among the finer Tonka Stouts.

From bottle at Mout Bierfestival Nijmegen 2021. Nice smokey notes upfront, but the Porter part isn't very exciting. More of a brown malt aroma than roast, with caramel. Some sugar. Mild bittersweet, medium body.

From bottle at Mout Bierfestival Nijmegen 2021. Pretty sour with an aroma of tart tropical fruits, guava, some papaya. Medium body. Maybe a bit rudimentary, but nicely sour.

Tap at 6e Midzomer Bier en BBQ festival, Hillegom: Dark brown-red colored brew with sweet taste with some faint sourness, hints of sweet tropical fruits.

bottle at dockside tap... deep red brown.. thin tan lacing.. soft sweet berries nose.. juicy fruits nose.. oily fruit.. big sweet toffee fruit.. massive sweet juicy.. light sweet boozy fruits

Bottle. Color: Murky brown, no head. Aroma: Sweetish honey, fruity Cognac. Taste: Well balanced combination of sweetish honey and fruity and bit boozy Cognac, raisins. Some subtle wood and tannins. Herbal hints. Maybe the Cognac is a bit overwhelming not not in a bad way. Full body, no carbonation what's perfectly ok in this case.. Over moderate to medium sweet, very light bitterness. Bit sticky. Very nice slow sipper.

Väga vaadine, nisune, alkone, nats hapukas, puidune, karamelline, puuviljane, nisune. Ok, vaat käib muust värgist ikka way liiga üle.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel amberkleurig bier, zonder schuim en koolzuur. (Wordt netjes op de fles vermeld). Het heeft een aroma van honing, cognac en vanille. De smaak is vol, zoet, honing, rozijnen en cognac.

Hazy reddish amber beer, short lived bubbly tan head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Overall, could have a more sumptuous mouthfeel. Smooth caramel malts, some creamy sweetness underneath but no real depth or complexity. This then is barleywine that only serves the barrel but it does it well enough. Rich winey ripe fruits go well with some barrell induced vanilla. A little spice on the smooth finish. Tidy if unspectacular.
