Black with thin soapy head. Aroma and flavour have Tonka but relatively light, still drinkable. Very light smoky element. Lots of wood in aroma bit not really any obvious rum. A bit thin

Looks like a creamy coffee! Begins quite full, roasted and bitter but does fade away quickly and get thinnish in the finish.

Black pour with no carbonation. There's elements in this of dark berries with a slight acidity and a certain bitterness like blackcurrants. Lots of woody dryness too. Subtle whisky warmth in the background. A tad thin and watery though for a big stout.

Bottle. Color: Murky orangish brown, little particles floating around in the glass. No head. Aroma: Malty, caramel, red wine. Taste: Malty, quite smooth wheat malt, caramel, notes of dark fruit, vinuous, red wine, oak wood. Boozy. Over medium body, very low carbonation. Over moderate sweet, light bitterness. Would benefit from some more carbonation, in my opinion. Ok.
Täitsa flat - mulle see sobib. Selline mõnus tammine, linnaseline ja viskine jook/kokteil.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', bottled in March 2020. Hazy, very dark brown to black with a thin, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a little fruity aroma of chocolate, coffee, some caramel and a touch of dark fruits. Quite sweet, malty, moderately roasty and slightly fruity taste of chocolate, caramel, coffee, raisins, some nuts and a touch of port, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter, a bit warming finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Pleasant beer, not too deep and quite sweet but also relatively easily drinkable.

Bottle. Color: Black, thin beige head. Aroma: Roasted malt, mocha, coffee. Sweetish. Hnts of nuts. Taste: Roasted malt, caramel, some coffee / mocha, some nuts and some grape. Spicy and salty notes. Slightly sour., hints of citrus. Lightly boozy. Although I can't match Balvenie with salty notes, acoording to the internet, the term salty keeps coming in my mind. Just over medium body, below average carbonation. Bit creamy mouthfeel, Quite unusual barrel for barrel ageing. Personally I think it's missing some usual (for a Stout) roasted malt and I don't really like the 'salty' part of it. Overall ok though.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ hetbiermoment.nl. Dutch brewery #377. Hazy amber with a white head. Malty aroma with some banana. Sweet taste and a horrible cardboard finish. Really oxidized making it impossible to finish.

Bottle. Color: Very dark ruby, almost black, no head. Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, sweetish, boozy hints. Taste: Sweetish and slightly sour, moderate bitter, roasted malt, coffee, some chocolate, caramel and dried dark fruit. Hints of smoke, nuts and vanilla. Overall sweetish and fruity. Over medium body, very low to no carbonation. I think some more carbonation would help, in this case. I had higher expectations. Disappointing.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy orange amber, light chestnut, fast disappearring thin off-white head. Aroma: Yeasty, sweetish and vinuous Moscatel. Taste: Over moderate sweet, moderate bitter, sweetish, vinuous Moscatel. Herbal nutmeg, floral. Yeasty notes. Hints of honey, citrus and raisins. Tannins, grapeskin and grape seed. Very dry and pretty dense mouthfeel. Just over medium body, below average carbonation. Long lasting fnish. On the sweet side but definitely an interesting, quite complex and nice dessert beer.
