Draught (8%) @ the brewpub. Aroma is sweet anf heavy with syrupy tones, toffee and toasted sugar. Flavour has chocolate, toasted sugar and molasses. Very sweet, reminds me of their jouluporter.

330 ml bottle. Pours black-brown, with a thin beige head. Aroma is quite off putting at first, acetone jumping into your face. When t warms a bit there is some vinous caramel sweetness too but well, not too nice. Taste is sweetish toffee and caramel, boiled veggies and somewhat unpleasantly raw finish. Relatively weak body, sugary sweetness making it a bit stronger. When other beers from Kochi Ait managed to surprise me then this one is actually a disappointment, I was already expecting more.

330 ml bottle. Pours dark red with some foam. Really red, quite clear. Aroma has some light caramel, green apples. Taste is quite flavourful, has some dried plums, some bittering hops, citric lemon peels. Has more layers than I thought, not bad at all for the style which is normally not my favourite. Drying the mouth a bit, lingering for long.

330 ml bottle. Pours mahogany, dark red. Has a nice foam that reduces soon into a quite thin layer. Not much carbonation. Aroma is sweetish, caramel, melted sugar candy. Taste has a slight hop not but also sweet caramelly base. Aftertaste turns a bit too bitter, raw, in a not very balanced way, kind of falls apart at the end. Overall, I guess not bad for the style, quite drinkable.

330 ml bottle. Pours pitch black, nice tan head, quite high at first but reduces soon into a thin layer. Aroma is a bit lactic, some roast there as well, dark ry bread, crumbs. Good actually. Taste is also full of roast flavours, burnt bread, average body that actually fits quite well with the flavour profile. Aftertaste turns a bit sour but not much and bitter roastiness lingers for longer. Didn’t expect this to be that good but it is actually quite nice. Surprise.

330 ml bottle. Didn’t know Kochi Ait beers come in bottles, so bought a selection now when I saw them at Sadama Market. Pours whitish, straw pale. Some foam at first bit it does come down quickly. Aroma has lots of wheaty banana, some raw dough, artificial sweet summer berries. Taste is quite full, some murkiness there but it doesn’t really bother. Bit of cloves. Feels thick and full of sand? Not bad at all but also not remarkable in any way. Could probably like it more when its draught at the brewpub.

0,33L bottle (from Superalko, Tallinn), BB 12.08.15. Pours dark brown with light brown head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is very sweet, candy sugar, caramel, malt, dark chocolate. Flavor is very sweet, syrupy, malt, caramel, roast, fruits, smoky notes, dark chocolate, and something oily. Finish has some bitterness. Alcohol is rather well covered. Overall: ok brew. Note: it may be alias for Talveporter, but the ABV and name doesn’t match. I haven’t tried the tap version, hence I can’t say.
