[ As Røde Port Den Røde Munk ].Unclear medium amber colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity malt, fruity hops, orange, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170518] 7-2-7-3-14

Draught at KØ17. Fruity aroma. Cloudy amber colour - lighter than expected of a dubbel. Small head. The flavour is very malty, has a kind of malt syrup note. Low bitterness. Fairly well-balanced.

Bottle at KØ17. Nutty aroma. Muddy very dark brown colour. Roasted flavour, yeasty, muddy, nutty and creamy. Medium bitterness. Metallic finish. Seems unfinished.

Fra fad på DØE Ølfestival i Lokomotivværkstedet maj-17: første øl første dag og første øl! Uklar kobber med flot skum der varer. God humleprofil (bitterappelsin, karamel og urter). Markant, men behagelig bitterhed i eftersmagen. Alkoholen varmen i maven.
