Black beer, no head. Aroma of sweet strong dark malt, vanilla, wood, maple syrup. Taste of sweet and strong dark malts, maple syrup, sweet chocolate, caramel, vanilla, boozy finish.

Keg at BrewDog Seven Dials, 22/06/23. Black with a big old khaki head that stays for the show. Nose is dark chocolate, molasses, dark malts, peanut butter. Taste comprises chocolate, molasses, light dried fruit tang, chocolate dipped raisins, toffee, Marathon Bar (Snickers you cunts), mellow roast, brown sugar dusting. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent kit but falls short of the 4 for me.
