From tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild malty and subdued hoppy. Subtle bitterness. Lingering fruity and malty finish. Vague bitterness again.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark orange to light brown with a small off-white and lacing head. Aroma is roasted malt, light breadish and vague caramel. Rather dry and yet with a not pronounced bitterness. Dry malt flavoured finish with a light bittering note. Ends dry.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry wheaty and slight estery. Dry estery flavoured. Mild bitterness coming through. Slight citric and with a mild phenolic touch. Ends dry estery.

An amber beer, stronger than usual with lots of malt. Very rich, but also well hopped, and therefore better balanced than your usual Oktoberfest beer. Very nicely done stuff. Draught at the brewpub, Sept. 2006.

Draught at the brewpub. A fine cloudy zwickl, amazingly malty and with a wonderful fresh taste. Hearty and rich, with bananas and spices. A great, rich beer that is just too easy to drink. The body is light but not too light. The great amount of yeast adds a full flavor. It has a bit of honey-like sweetness, and also a fruity flavor. It is not very strongly hopped, but it is well balanced. This is really nice stuff.

Dark amber with red glimts. Smoked aroma and it had roasted malt, rye bread and caramel. Flavour had plenty of roasted malt, caramel and rye bread. Nice mellow smoke towards the finish. Not bad.

Cloudy golden coloured, small white head that went away fast. Almost the same as Brigitta Helles I’ve had the day before. Hoppy, light grainy and bready taste with notes of honey in the finish. Average one.

Hazy orange coloured, medium sized white head, wheaty banana nose. Very spicy and strong banana taste. Also quite strong cloves presence and touch of cinnamon. Ok weizen.

Dark golden coloured, small white head, alcoholic nose. Sweet malty, light grainy, weak hoppy and a way too strong alcoholic taste. Quite dry in the finish, but in general one-dimensional bock. 5.7%
