Crisp clear coloured body with a thinnish pure white head that fades quickly and leaves nothing on top at all. Aroma of crisp grain, a lot of lager yeast, some bread and a hint of lemons with a nice bite of alcohol noticeable. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal quality at first with a lager yeast and dry biscuity flavour with some lemons and soapy components with a soft, almost rice maltiness with a dry finish with floral and herbal components, but relatively easy-drinking with a light bitterness. Aftertaste shows a light dose of flowers and grass with more of a bitterness from the malts and yeast with a finish of bread and grain with some rice notes and even corn, but nothing too pungent. Overall, a nice and crisp, very light beer with a nice grassy, herbal profile that shows the lager yeasts pretty strongly and only a hint of pungency. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Ye Old Spirit Shop in Frederick, Maryland on 29-November-2020 for US$3,59 sampled at my house here in Washington on 04-May-2021.

Super dense and hazy bright orange and apricot coloured body with a thinnish, very fast-dying just off-white head that leaves a tall, ugly lace near the top of the glass. Aroma of strong and rich hops with fruits, oranges, resin, pine, grapefruit and flowers all noticeable, but the malts and alcohol perhaps are the strongest in the nose. Full-bodied; Super strong resinous, piney, grapefruity and rich malt notes dominate with a pungent fruity bite that has some sweetness, but mainly a deep floral and hoppy character with a rich syrupy and resinous bite throughout - pungent! Aftertaste shows some pure caster sugar and honey sweetness with a bite of apricots and stone fruits and some grainy malts coming through, but the richness really is the kicker here with this tasting and feeling like a syrupy soup than a typical Imperial IPA - it's nice, but you have to be ready and expecting it, as it's deeper than I expected. Nice to sample and while the hops are fairly new school and showing more character than bitterness, there is enough here to make this bitter as well and become a fairly nice balance between a new school and old school almost Imperial IPA. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 24-October-2020 for US$3,79 sampled at my house here in Washington on 04-January-2021.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2019 - London. Pours unclear yellow-gold with a small, foamy white head. So so, pretty basic, with notes of dried wheat, yeast, lemon peel. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Wheaty finish. Just acceptable.
