Canned 11/8/24, drunk 9/1/25.
Big, tan head. Dark, but garnet-hued, clear body.
Nose is really candy/adjunct-forward initially. Milky, chocolatey, sweet but not too much cinnamon, at least. Bourbon shows up. Lightly, but noticeably. No alcohol noted.
First thing I get is ginger, followed by milk chocolate and rich malts, with a soft, sweet, thin texture. Quite watery. Bourbon notes are mellow and flavorful but this body/texture is abysmal! Drinks like a 5% stout. It doesn't need to be syrupy motor oil, but at 12.2%, it damned sure needs to have a lot more malt depth/texture than this.

US Pint can from a Trader Joe's, drank on 27th August 2025 after watching Manchester United lose to my football team Grimsby Town. Poured into a La Chouffe tulip (twice) at my daughters place in Laguna Hills. Golden body, white affair on top. Vanilla and coconut esters in the aroma, the taste also coconutty with a sweet vanilla flavour, biscuit like feel to the beer, all a bit strange to me. Too sweet in an unnatural way, boozy as well.

Pours near black and smells of peanuts, chocolate, and roast malt with the peanuts taking the lead. The flavor is on the sweet side with peanuts, chocolate, roast malt, and coffee. There’s some mild hops in there. It’s full bodied. Quite good.

Clear pour. Thin white foamy head. Drinking this in memory of my father in law who died from pancreatic and liver. Floral and grass flavor. Light carbonation and light bodied.

Grass, scallion nose. Crystal clear yellow, medium snow white head. Grass, lilly new plastic, violet. Light body, easy carbonation, somewhat waxy and resinous. I'm drinking this in memory of my father. He died from pancreatic and liver cancer, exactly one year ago today. Double uprated for an important cause.
