Stubby from Tavour. Pours very dark brown with a large foamy/creamy dark tan head. Aroma of raspberries and chocolate. Approaching full bodied. Flavor is raspberry, chocolate, burnt malt and vanilla notes. Not sweet. Reasonably bitter. Earthy in the finish. Interesting and tasty.

Grapefruit. Orange peel. Marmalade, lots of it. Murky orange pour with pretty good head. Doesn't come together super well. Tangy, and boozy finish with some sweetness. Tap at Fire Works.

$5.99 500ml bottle, TJs-CHO. Golden, light haze, soft white head. Ginger, vanilla, cinnamon, coconut nose; sweet, but not artificial or sickening. Flavor is coconut, rich vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, nuts, ginger. Very flavorful, kinda sweet but not cloying. The back-end cinnamon really helps cut the sweetness. Really nice.

Pint bottle from Trader Joe's, Downers Grove, IL Seems this gets around to various TJ stores as fast as they can make it. Amber to golden color, slightly hazy, under a bubbly head. Smell has cinnamon upfront, interesting since that's not mentioned in the ingredients. Maybe that's the toasted coconut talking. Or it's creating the mouthfeel of shortening that goes into the cookie impression. So it's very spicy, and sometimes overdone like a Trader Joe's Christmas beer. I tried pairing it with Speculoos cookies and cookie butter, but that was too sweet altogether. Alcohol might be adding to the sweetness. But it takes a long time to be felt.

Raspberry, charred oak, bourbon, nougat aroma. Mahogany, medium beige head. Raspberry and charred oak, bourbon accents. Full body, easy carbonation. Very nicely done and I don't even like fruited stouts.

Can. Poured a dark brown color with a small, light brown head. Aroma was huge ginger notes, more-so than the OG version. Not as creamy, just dark roast with sharp ginger bitterness. Perhaps slightly more enjoyable to drink than the Stout version.
