Cask at the Greyfriars, Reading. Pale amber with a loose white head; lemony aroma; full bodied, with a tangerine citrus taste; and a dry, sweet grapefruit finish. Satisfying.

Cask@The Railway, Streatham, London - pours dark amber brown with a reddish hue. Aroma and taste is sweet malty, caramel, toasty, some dark fruity undertones, herbal hoppy, with some light spice. Nice.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2014 - London. Pours clear amber with a frothy, off-white head. Strong spices in the nose, almost some Vicks Vapo-rub character, menthol. Medium sweet flavor with light citrus, cinnamon, grains, toasty bread, leaves and nutmeg. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with moderate sweetness, toasted sugars, grass, orange peel, more cinnamon and nutmeg. Extremely novel.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 27 Nov 2014) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with grass, citrus and a touch of toast. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grass, grapefruit, resin and a generous grassy bitterness (almost leaning in the Czech pilsener style) in a dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Refreshing and tasty. Nice one.
