cask@The Railway, Streatham, London - Amber to brown pour, small off-white head. Grainy, earthy, bready malt body, some caramel, syrup, toffee,dark fruits,woodyness, and some pleasing hop nuances throughout. Solid bitter this.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 16th July 2013. Deep sepia with pale tan head. Fruity, spicy aroma with berries. In-mouth taste generally sweet with berries, apples and light spices. Finish sweet, light body and mouthfeel.

Cask at The Union Tavern, London on 24 June. Golden ale with some good strong flavours, but turns a little watery on the palate. Very drinkable as a session beer.

50 cl bottle @ Utsjoki, BBE 04/2014 Aroma has vegetables, pea soup, metal, some toffee and caramel malt. Flavour has vegetables, ashy notes, some caramel and toffee. Dry finish with some harsh malt and ash. Laitila(!) house flavour is quite strong here – most likely a bit contaminated. Not completely ruined though.

Tap East Open Brewhouse Fest. Dry hopped version (there may not be an non dry hopped version). Light haze on this gold beer. Residual white head. Smooth palate, very low carbonation. Semi sweep pale malt, smooth. Mellow orange marmalade and citrus. Finishes semi dry. Decent if a bit flat.

500ml bottle darkish brown brown with lasting beige head. Decent choc flavour. Maybe some vanilla I guess. Tasty dark mild. Fine.

Cask at the strong room. Dark ruby red copper no head. Aroma is nutty Grainy granary bread. Hints of toasted bread. Flavour follows more berry fruit esters soft coronation sticky palate. Good malty beer.
