Cask at Craven Arms; dark brown pour with tan head, sweet chocolate aroma, taste had chocolate quite sweet, good stuff.

Cask at the strong room. Dark ruby red copper no head. Aroma is nutty Grainy granary bread. Hints of toasted bread. Flavour follows more berry fruit esters soft coronation sticky palate. Good malty beer.

Bottle at home from odd bins London bridge. Aroma is strange, initially I got some Belgian yeast then earthy dirt Roasty aroma. Then I got a bit of meatyness. Flavour is better, smooth roast, berry and chalk. Dark opaque caramel colour no real head. I can see that this is a good beer, but I think I have got a bad example.

500ml bottle. Filmy ruby red dark copper colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Herbal hoppy aroma with fruity notes of dark berries, yeastie overtones. Taste is herbal hoppy, husky notes, sublte sweet fruity undertones, milk chocolate, some lemon. Nice complexity, well balanced.

[Cask at Reading BF] Dark brown with a moderate beige head. A slight sourness in the aroma. Roasty malt at first in the mouth then creamy vanilla. OK, but didnโt like the hint of sourness.

Cask at Clapton Hart. It pours golden with a small white head. The nose is orange, apple, grape and digestive biscuit. The taste is smooth tangerine, orange, grapefruit, grape, wood and light toast with a dry finish. Light-medium body and carbonation. Smooth, fruity session ale

500ml bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. Black beer with lasting tan head. Lots of coffee on this. Quite a tasty stout. Last beer of a Friday evening tasting and certainly a good finishing beer. Full in mouth but not alcoholic. Decent coffee stout.

Bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. Iโve just heard the phrase "my father would have killed for a rectum of a horse." which puts everything into context doesnโt it? Dark brown beer with a lasting thick dark beige head. This is a very good best bitter. Brilliant malts, great peppery hop on the end. This is really good. A very good best bitter.

Bottle 0.5l at home (via alesbymail). BBE 05/13. Colour is brown with medium brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, sweetness, nuts, fruits, hops and roasted malts. Pretty nice.
