Cask at the Cock Tavern, London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a faint, white foam head. Biscuity malt nose. Medium sweet flavor, toasty sugars, faint leaves and hay, light toasty bread. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Mild sweet finish with some rocks and hay, dirt, light dry and doughy biscuits. OK. (3.2)
Cask at the Union Tavern, London during the ELB event. Quite an enjoyable session beer. Has a lot of pleasant, citrusy notes, tangerine mostly, mild bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Faint stickiness to finish, some citrusy hop notes, background pale malt sweetness. Good stuff. (3.7)

Cask at the Grafton, London on 21st September 2012. Clear copper with off-white part lacing frothy head. Malty, fruity aroma with berries. The in-mouth taste is fruity with a touch of roastiness, malt and strong bitterness. Satisfying, long-lasting very bitter finish. Very well-kept pint in new pub.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toasted, moderate hoppy, grass, orange - citrus, wood and licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Dispensed from the cask into an English half pint jug at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green (Jan ’12). Pours to a clear amber/copper colour with a thin white head. Subtle malty nose twinned with a light hop aroma, would say citrusy hops - grapefruit/orangey smell. Malts in the taste, but probably a little more background than the smell, also get the citrus fruit flavours in the hopping, earthy-ish but not too bitter in the aftertaste A fairly thin beer in body, but not to the detriment of my enjoyment - ample for this style/ABV!

Cask at Windsor Locale beer festival 2012. A copper coloured pour with a small white head on top. Malty, fruity aroma. Tastes really malty, fruity, caramel, hoppy, slight sweetness. Rich tasting and rather good.

(Cask at Priory Arms, Stockwell, London, 21 April 2012) Golden amber colour with foamy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with peaches, biscuits and citrus. Fruity, malty taste with notes of peaches, biscuity malt and a gentle, slightly dusty, bitterness in the finish. Rather light body, with balanced sweetness. Quite drinkable and tasty.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Kentish Town, London, 19 April 2012) Reddish brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty nose with notes of dried fruit, raisins, nuts and dark bread. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, toast, raisins and spicy hops in a slightly bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Quite decent.
