Established in 2011
From modest origins in July 2011, which saw Nene Valley Brewery operating with just a two-and-a-half-barrel facility, the company moved into its new riverside premises at the end of that year and now operates a 15-barrel installation. Brewing is undertaken once a week with a range of products distributed to local pubs, wholesalers and direct to the public.

Can from the brewery. Appearance - golden with a snow white head. Nose - corn and green beans. Taste - more corn, green bitter herb. Palate - light bodied, good dry bitter finish. Overall - good example of the style.

Bottle from Nene Valley. Appearance - a beautiful damson and autumnal red melding. Nose - red fruit, possibly strawberry. Caramel. Taste - tangy red fruit, burnt bread. Palate - tangy sweet and tangy. Roasty finish. Overall - quite enjoyed this.

Bottle. Pours clear copper with a thin off-white head. Aromas of nutty malt, biscuit. Taste has light red fruit on top. Light bitter finish.

Bottle from the brewery. Appearance - dark brown to black and almost opaque. Nose - chocolate, caramel and roastiness. Taste - more sweet chocolate and caramel. Roasty and slightly smoky on the end. Palate - Overall - good.
