Established in 2011
From modest origins in July 2011, which saw Nene Valley Brewery operating with just a two-and-a-half-barrel facility, the company moved into its new riverside premises at the end of that year and now operates a 15-barrel installation. Brewing is undertaken once a week with a range of products distributed to local pubs, wholesalers and direct to the public.

Can from Hoptimism. Appearance - yellow with a light haze. Nose - apricot and orange. Taste - more apricots. Palate - good balance, light bodied, balanced bitterness. Overall - good.

Can from Hoptimism. Thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours clear yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of lime rind and resin. Taste is citrus, light malt, lemon. Light bitter finish.

Cask handpull at The Ostrich Peterborough. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Peachy tropical fruit pale ale. it's like a lot of the Nene beers. decent. good flavours. balanced well made good condition. liked it.

On tap at Charters Peterborough. clear gold colour thin collar white bubbles.its an ok pale lager. not much in the body some malt. some lemon flavour. it's a pretty decent pale lager. not world beating but a hell of a lot better than a macro. ok.

Cadk handpull at Charters Peterborough. black beer lasting tan head. strongish porter. a little juicy in the mouth. dark chocolate flavour light cocoa. decent strong chocolate porter. ok.

11/9/2020. Can at the Gorzow GP bottle-share, from Beer Garage, Northampton. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a small bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, grapefruit, pineapple, light pine. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight creamy texture, average carbonation. Very subtle but lovely with it.

Cask handpull at White Lion Norwich. Clear deep gold amber colour lasting white head. tasty. good blond ale. good citrus good sharpness to the finish great condition. really drinkable. outstanding soft cask condition. definitely drinkable. excellent. love Nene Valley right now.

Cadk handpull at The Ribs of Beef Norwich clear gold colour lasting white head. yes actually a really good blond. lovely sweet malt lovely citrus grassy hops good bitter finish. hangs together nicely.

On tap at The Artichoke Norwich Dark almost black beer lasting tan head. Some dark malts some dark fruits. bit of blackcurrant. smooth. slightly sweet. good to mix up the pale ales with a dark beer. some chocolate some coffee. decent.

On tap at The Artichoke Norwich. Clear pale gold colour lasting white head. It's a perfectly fine session ipa some lemon and lime acidity. some bitterness. very light malt. would be a good thirst quencher after a long ride. bitter finish is good.
