7/3/2020. Bottle at my Birthday bottle share, bought at (the much lamented) La Cave a Bulles, Paris. Pours very dark brown with a bubbly/frothy beige head. Aroma of chocolate limes, dark chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruits, berries and coffee. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Medium to full body, creamy texture, average to soft carbonation. Very good.

almost black colour, moderate sized creamy, long-lasting brown head; aroma of licorice, dark chocolate, coffee, leather and soy sauce notes, hints of dried dark berries and plum; taste of dark chocolate, licorice, herbal liqueur, heavy roasted rye bread and burnt plum jam; great imperial stout!

On tap at L'Atalante, pours a deep dark red with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt and slight earthy notes. Flavour is bold, with earthy notes, toasted malt and some bitterness. Earthy and toasty. Very good.

Tap @ Brussels Beer Project. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. Aromas of grassy hops, mango, mandarin, citrus. Taste is citrussy, grassy, pale malty, some tropical fruits.

@ BXL Beer Fest. Dark brown colour, lots of roasted malts along with a refreshing ginger note (ginger ale). Very unique combination, not bad!

Bouteille 33cl, merci Willy. BB 06/2020, lot# 642. Léger orange trouble, col beige. Arôme au nez palsiant, fruité avec bouquet d'orange/mandarine, zeste et pelure, petite note de caramel et malté en rétro. Palais malté, caramel et finement toasté - classique Common, l'ajout d'orange confère une belle fraicheur - agrumes sur la fin. Sur la fin, le léger malté caramel revient.

Bouteille 33cl, merci Willy. BB 05/2021 lot# 627. Dorée sur léger voile, col blanc. Arôme au nez fin - grains malts, herbacé en rétro avec un léger fruité. Palais malté, sour mash, un peu salin - iodé, note de thé vert avec note citrique - acidité marquée en fin de bouche et un effet de levure pâtissière sur la fin. Citronné revient en retrait.

Bouteille 33cl, merci Willy. BB 06/2020. Dorée trouble, col fin blanc. Arôme au nez fin malté, grains, fruité et notes d'épices, coriandre assez marqué avec soupçon de rétro gingembre. Palais est léger, malt pils, qcq notes d'esters, épaisseur en bouche, petite touche poivrée - peut-être dû au gingembre? note aussi un effer girofle et cardamone.
