Keg at Beer Museum in Prague Day 5 of Fergus and Sarah’s Czech jaunt. 3/10/14. Clear reddy / copper coloured pour with a lasting creamy head. Aroma is berry, hedgerow floral hops, pollen, toffee malts. Flavour is composed of toffee, honey malts, floral, pollen hop, some resin. Very tasty. Palate is touch sweet, fullish body, moderate carbonation. Tasty brew.

bottle at home from trade with Jamedra, thanks Roman :) ABV on bottle says 7.8%. BB 31.10.2015 dark, orange / light amber color, amost clear. very small off-white head. smells malty sweet, dried fruits, plums, peach, some alcohol, light dusty smell, overall smell is quite nice. full body, rather soft carbonation, rathery watery mouthfeel. tastes malty sweet, dried fruits, hay, honey, some citric / astringent notes, grainy, herbal, fruity / dry / light bitter finish. hmm, smells is nice, but just tastes too flat, could use a bit of carbonation (tastes a bit flat), overall a bit boring grainy / herbal.

Tap @ Prague Beer Museum, Dlouha. Hazy orange with a creamy head. Soft and juicy hoppy. Peach and strawberry. A bit of bread. Hoppy finish. A fresh keg - no question. Nice.

Tap at Salon piva KE. Aroma lots of malt, caramel, bread crust, toffee. Hazy copper colour. Immortal head. Taste has strong caramelly malty sweetness up front, then changes into resiny-citrus pith hoppiness and eventually finishes soury and tart and lightly astringent. Weird beer, not exactly to my liking.

(Keg at Maltainen Riekko, 20150220) The beer poured really dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had malts, caramel and coffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, burnt malts, grass, caramel and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. Nothing here resembled an IPA. This beer was more like a dunkel with added burnt malts and more hops.

Tap at RJ. Aroma roasty, fruity. Seems unbalanced. The taste however is quite opposite. Very nicely balanced, dark roasted malt, caramel. Clear dark brown colour, stable head. Very good, easily drinkable.

Tap at RJ. Pleasant inviting level of grapefruit in aroma. Stable head, golden colour. Taste is very nicely balanced, pleasant intensity of grapefruit, seems natural. Light tartness in addition to rather light hops bitterness and flavour. Really nice sessionable beer.
