Sampled at BXL festival. Deep reddish brown, almost black. Thick roast, sweet coffee, dark chocolate, red wine indeed but not too overpowering, sweet almonds, a hint of yeast. Bit boozy. Over medium sweet, medium bitter and light tart. Full bodied with soft carbonation and slightly boozy finish. Quite OK.

BXL ‘19. Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, red wine, licorice, oak and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Light full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Hazy purple color with pink head. Aroma is blackcurrant, some yeastcake, some herbal stuff. Taste is blackcurrant, jam, some leather, a bit tannins. Oily, mineraly mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Quite tasty, but quite simple as well.

Bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is candied sugar, fruity red wine, leathery. Taste is candied sugar, leather, red wine, some chocolate, tobacco, some tannins in the back. Thick oily mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is amazing flowers, wedding bouquet, some fresh yeast. Taste is flowery, very orangey, fruity hops, almost dry finish, a touch boozy flavours. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Could do with a little bit less perfumey hops.
